All of a sudden, some parts of the screen turned dark and Boss had a red outline.Ī shaking effect takes place as the group sees Aubrey, Kel, and Hero's sprite turn into toast after taking a lot of damage. After a few minutes of the group discussing and using the skills that they had, they took a good amount of Boss's HP and he was almost defeated. "Why is it always me that gets attacked first.?"Īubrey and Kim did a facepalm as if it was obvious why he would get attacked first. After Boss receives some damage, Boss punches Kel's sprite and it loses some health points. Kel presses Z and they all watch the game do its magic. "Go for it, nerd" said Kim as she smirked. "That sounds good," said Aubrey as she smiled. How does that sound?"Įveryone didn't know why some of the skills were used on the group instead of the enemy because this was their first fight, so Aubrey and Kim decided to go along with the flow. Along with that, I will also make Aubrey cheer for Hero, who will attack Boss. "Since Omori was making Boss sad from his sad poem skills, I will make myself attack Boss with one of my skills. Kim and Aubrey listened to Kel as he explains what he did. "Alright," Kel said as he was one button away from unleashing the skills from the group. After choosing the skill, the game switches around the group so they could choose the attacks for them. Kel decides to use the SAD POEM skill on Boss. Omori had a SAD POEM skill, which inflicts a sad emotion on a friend or foe. There were four buttons: Attack, Skill, Snack, and Toy.Īs Aubrey looked confused, Kim suggested to check out the skills that everyone had. "Alright, this is the first fight," Kel pointed out. The game starts to turn into an enemy fight segment, showing a drawing version of Boss holding Basil as it shows the group's health and mana points, along with a "FIGHT!" and "RUN" and a message.Īs Kel presses Z on the FIGHT option, everyone was talking about what to do. I totally understand wanting to warn others about malicious or harmful people in their communities, but it’s pretty harmful to accuse someone of something so extreme with little to no reason.Everyone was surprised about how the screen faded as comic book letters that said " BAM! POW! WHAM! SMASH!" appears from the bottom of the screen. the shirt was meant to be a parody of those sometimes-ironic “boy” shirts, and was not meant to condone pedophilia in any way.”Īnd considering that the shirt is literally just a drawing of his face with a bored expression calling OMOCAT a pedophile is a really big leap in logic. “i was under the impression that shota and shotacon meant different things- shota loosely meant “anime boy, or young-looking man” while shotacon referred to the anime boy complex. When confronted about it OMOCAT clarified that they didn’t mean anything sexual about it on their tumblr blog– (Image transcription: “Shota (Japanese: ショタ), a Japanese slang term for a cultural version of a more youthful or childlike male appearance, mostly used to describe fictional characters. I don’t think the poster realises that shota is also a term for a young boy or a youthful male look? The post claims that “shota” is clearly referencing shotacon (a shorter form of “shotaro complex” according to wikipedia), which is a japanese term for attraction to young boys. (Image description: A design of a pale green t-shirt with a drawing of Omori’s face and the word “SHOTA” in all-caps underneath it, signed OMOCAT in the corner.) Hey, I get that you’re trying to warn people about pedophiles but I think that drawing the conclusion that OMOCAT is one based on the evidence in that post is quite a stretch, especially for a such a heavy accusation.įor everyone else, here’s the image in the post that the anon sent: Omocat, the creator of omori is a pedophile kitsuneheroes tumblr com post 638251949965361152 warning-post-for-omocatomori
